A mid-season Buckinghamshire cooking apple with large, yellow-green fruit and tough skin. Flesh is creamy white, coarse textured, somewhat dry and acidic. A firm baker, needing hardly any sugar. Known for its exceptional display of attractive light pink blossom in the spring. Good disease resistance. Pollination group B. Rootstock MM106.
The apples cook to a delicious puree, needing hardly any sugar.
The deep pink blossom makes this a very attractive garden tree.
