The nurseries at Waterperry have been growing plants for over 80 years both for retail and for the gardens.

Although we have reduced the size of the nursery in 2019 we still produce some unusual plants for sale in the garden shop.

These include snowdrops, roses and our most important crop and the one we are renowned for growing: asters.

The asters are propagated from our own, carefully nurtured stock beds in the Ornamental Gardens.

Waterperry-grown plants are guaranteed for a year and you can be sure of their pedigree. We grow them hard, without heating, which means they’re much tougher than many garden centre offerings.

We also grow and sell a selection of quality trained fruit trees from our fruit department nursery.
