Another apple from F.W. Wastie of Eynsham, Oxfordshire. First raised from a cross between 'Court pendu Plat' and 'Blenheim Orange' in 1937. A large, round, predominantly yellow dessert apple with red-pink facings. The flesh is yellowish and coarse grained. Pleasantly sweet, becoming more flavourful after maturing in storage. Pollination group B. Rootstock MM106.
Orginally bred by F.W. Wastie of Eynsham in 1927.The apples are ready to pick by mid October and store very well in the right conditions.
