A lovely deciduous shrub with delicate pink flowers in summer and large clusters of violet bead-like berries borne on purplish stems in autumn and winter. Young foliage emerges bronze-purple, becoming dark green, before turning golden purple in autumn. Fantastic for flower arrangements and very attractive to birds. Full sun or partial shade. Height and spread 2-3m.
